CONCORD, NC -- Here is the new GTS Cup Champion leading the top 5 in Charlotte

At Charlotte Motor Speedway, Daniel Filipe Costa and Marc van Brakel since the event started showed that they were the cars to follow. As the race started the duo went to the lead for what could be a fantastic battle, but after a daniel's mistake, Marc assumed the lead for good, not giving any chance to the other contenders, achieving his 7th win in the season. John McGraw made another great race achieving his best result of the season. A special moment in this event was seing Scott Gloudemans in track again, after a long time out. He showed all his experience and skills by achieving a fantastic podium,right after his team mate. Ismael Cifuentes made 4th being able to defend his second position in general standings from Rob Mackay that ended this race right after him and Paulo Rocha who had mechanical problems in this race. Daniel Filipe Costa owns the track record.
